Watercolour pencils are used in painting, drawing, and when combined drawing techniques are used. The “Sonnet” watercolour pencils combine features of coloured pencils and watercolour paints. They are soft and easy to spread. The colours are intense and pure. To create watercolours drawing effect, an artist may draw with these pencils on paper that was slightly dewed with water, or to draw using a wet brush – to wet certain parts of the drawing. The best effect will be achieved when using watercolour paper.
